Here are just some of the events that will find a home with us in 2019:
UBM is relocating Brand Licensing Europe (BLE) to ExCeL, as part of their ambitious strategy to evolve the show. Their vision is to attract even more European licensees, retailers and licensors, whilst improving the customer experience for both visitors and exhibitors.
EGX, the UK’s largest gaming event, is relocating to ExCeL from the NEC. David Lilley, Event Director for Gamer Network, the event organiser, said he was “thrilled to be bringing EGX home as it means we can grow all elements of the show and add new content and features that we know our fans desire, making this an unmissable outing for gamers and the UK games industry.”
The gaming sector will also see the launch of VidCon London, the world's largest event for fans, creators, executives, and brands who are passionate about online video and building diverse communities. Over 10,000 fans are expected at the inaugural event at ExCeL. Co-founder, Hank Green said, “We are excited to bring the event to ExCeL so fans, creators and the industry can connect with each other to celebrate online video in new ways”.
After 28 years at the NEC, The Education Show moved to ExCeL, earlier this month, to run alongside Bett. This extended show included hundreds of suppliers, CPD content presentations and the world’s largest gathering of the education community.
Corporate clients returning to ExCeL in 2019 will include global brands such as Adobe, Salesforce, Tableau, Amazon Web Services, Oracle, Google, Microsoft and Service Now. We will also play host to the world’s premium financial services event, Sibos, which will welcome over 11,000 international delegates from every corner of the globe.
2019 will see the return of RCOG (Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists), and EAGE (European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers). The EAGE Conference and Exhibition is the world's largest and most comprehensive multi-disciplinary geoscience and engineering event. Additionally, ICARE (International Conference on Avian Herpetological and Exotic Mammal medicine) will be arriving at ExCeL for the first time this April.
Following a successful launch in 2018, Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N is continuing its run at ExCeL, with additional weekend slots added, following a surge in demand for tickets. Marvel marks the start of an exciting venture for ExCeL and we look forward to sharing details of new events and attractions, in due course.
