ExCeL London announces further investment in its facilities

04 February 2013

ExCeL London has invested a further £750,000 in its facilities.

Following on from client feedback and ExCeL's ambitions to provide a world class environment for the millions of visitors that come to the venue each year, ExCeL has invested a further £750,000 in its facilities.

A new conference centre in the ICC London was opened last week to coincide with ExCeL's busiest ever January and the week it was host to the largest technology companies in the world with Cisco Live and BETT.

The London Suite provides an additional 6 meeting rooms with a total capacity of just under 400 delegates in a self contained area of the ICC.

David Pegler, CEO, ExCeL London: "The first event to benefit from this new space was Cisco Live, which opened on the 29th January, showcasing their latest products to over 6,000 international delegates. In addition, since the last time Cisco hosted their event with us, we have invested a further £250,000 in the venue's heating system, to make the venue entrance and arrival experience warmer during the winter months. We continue to speak to our customers and ensure that they have the best experience possible when they come to ExCeL. These investments are testament to our continued commitment and ambitions to remain a world class venue."
