BETT the educational technology show reported a record rebooking figure of 104% of space sold for the 2013 show, making it the biggest ever rebook in the thirty year history of the show.

Debbie French, Exhibition Director said "BETT has always been an innovative event and our exhibitors recognise the relocation to ExCeL London will enable us to not only grow the show but also to accommodate a multitude of fringe events under one roof. We have been delighted with the response we have received from our exhibitors and look forward to our first event at ExCeL London in January 2013".

Emap's other event relocating to ExCeL London in 2013, Broadcast Video Expo (BVE) also reported a record onsite rebook with 69% of exhibition space for the sold.

Charlotte Wheeler, Exhibition Director, BVE said "As a team we are extremely excited about the opportunities our relocation to ExCeL London will give us, including the ability to increase the breadth of our seminar and education content . Our exhibitors recognise that these opportunities will enhance the event and have responded in a very positive way with more of them rebooking onsite than ever before. We had taken a number of them on FAM trips to ExCeL prior to the last show at Earls Court and the feedback we received was incredible".

BVE exhibitor John Harris from Root 6 who was one of the exhibitors who attended one of the FAM trips said "When you arrive you are immediately impressed with ExCeL and the surrounding developments, including the Olympic stadium, O2, new Cable Car and the many bars and restaurants available. Combine that with the complete professionalism of the ExCeL staff and the new and improved transport systems its no wonder Emap chose to relocate BVE to ExCeL London".

Clarion who are relocating ICE Totally Gaming from Earls Court had a similarly impressive reaction with a record 75% of exhibition space rebooked for 2013.

Kate Chambers, Portfolio Director, ICE Totally Gaming, said: "Our new home at ExCeL London has been extremely well received by our exhibitors. This level of pre-booking so far ahead of an event going live is unprecedented and augurs extremely well for the next chapter in the life of ICE Totally Gaming."
