The Royal College of Psychiatrists celebrate success at ExCeL London

07 July 2016

The Royal College of Psychiatrists have reported a 17% increase in delegate attendance following their 2016 event held at ExCeL London from the 27th - 30th June.

The congress, which was held in ExCeL's International Convention Centre, welcomed 2,971 international delegates, up from 2,494 delegates in 2015, when the congress was held in Birmingham.

Sonia Walter, Head of Event Operations, Royal College of Psychiatrists, said, "We are delighted with the success of our 2016 congress at ExCeL London. The venue is the Capital’s premier location for meetings and events and the ideal environment for our delegates to meet, network and exchange ideas. ExCeL's flexible event space meant that delegates were able to move around the event easily, maximising their overall experience. We look forward to working with ExCeL again in the future."

Jamie Ades, Senior Account Manager, ExCeL London, added, "It was a pleasure to work with the Royal College of Psychiatrists, supporting them to deliver a successful event outcome. We work closely with every client to understand their specific objectives, ensuring that they get the most from hosting their event with us. We look forward to continuing to work with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and hope to welcome them back to ExCeL London in the future."
