Elizabeth line — Crossrail

In 2018, a brand new train service will open which will change the face of London and the way that you travel to ExCeL.

Europe’s largest infrastructure project, Crossrail, is a brand new £15 billion railway which will provide world-class connectivity, making ExCeL London one of the most accessible venues in the world. Going from Reading and Heathrow in the west, to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east, the new railway will cover over 100km of track passing through 21km of rail tunnels and ten new stations.

A dedicated Crossrail station will be opening at our venue so you’ll enjoy:

Frequent, convenient journeys and connections from Heathrow and all London airports, which means even easier access if you’re travelling from North America, Asia, or Australasia.

Better links between the capital’s major commercial and business districts, allowing for exceptional access across the capital. Such as Canary Wharf and the West End.

12 trains an hour, each carrying up to 1,500 visitors in comfort.

Services will commence on the Elizabeth line in December 2018 and are set to make ExCeL London one of the best connected venues in the world, with access from Heathrow to the venue in 43-minutes.

“The opening of the Elizabeth line will be truly transformational for our clients and the millions of exhibitors, visitors and delegates who we welcome each year. The line will provide a direct service to Central London, reducing journey times and allowing visitors to access the whole of the city quickly and easily. It will provide an ‘events super highway’ linking the world’s busiest airport at Heathrow to ExCeL London in 43-minutes. In between, visitors will be able to access the very best of what London has to offer, with access to more hotels, Michelin starred restaurants and world renowned theatre and shopping, all within record time. We look forward to working with our clients to open up the benefits of Crossrail in the build-up to 2018 and beyond”
