Following extensive research and customer feedback, the venue has re-configured its ICC Auditorium to further meet the needs of its clients.
ExCeL London has seen a 25% increase in conference and events business in 2013, with a record year for associations and events for world renowned brands including Adobe, Salesforce.com, Oracle, Cisco, PwC and Ford.
Executive Director James Rees, comments: "As London's only International Convention Centre it is important that we continue to invest not only in our facility but in the guest experience. We are welcoming premium brands to the ICC and therefore it's crucial that we have a product and service to match. Whilst our sales team are the face of ExCeL and the ICC, we are taking steps to ensure that our Event Managers are equally part of our brand, with a new corporate image that reflects the first-class service our clients expect."
Rees continues: "Technology is also at the forefront of our strategy and a key sector for the Conference & Events team. As such, we have extended free Wi-Fi to the entire venue and invested in upgrading the Wi-Fi infrastructure to ensure we offer the latest technology available. This means our guests will now be able to stay in touch with their office on email and access social media wherever they are in the venue, including the ICC."
