Not only is it being held in the beautiful city of London, but after two years of strict lockdowns, it will be the first fully hybrid WONCA Europe conference so you can visit in person. It will be the first conference as we move into the next stage of the coronavirus pandemic, and what better way to celebrate it than in London, a city that is lively, attractive, and full of culture and excitement.
The theme of the conference is “Innovating family medicine together for a sustainable future”. We will elaborate on this theme in cohesive sets of plenary presentations, round table sessions and workshops, covering aspects of patient care, research, and education. We are delighted that World Health Organization Director General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus will be sending a pre-recorded opening address.
Confirmed keynote speakers include WONCA Europe President Dr Anna Stavdal, Professor Sir Michael Marmot, and members from the Vasco da Gama Movement of trainees and early career GPs across Europe, as well as RCGP Chair Professor Martin Marshall.
