An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide administrative support to the Event Venue Services (EVS) team.

This team is responsible for the sales and delivery of event related IT, electrics, rigging, and cleaning and waste management.

The role is predominately reactive in nature and facilitates the administration of the sales process. You will need to develop strong working relationships with the Finance team, as well as our technical teams.

Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, as well as effective time management and the ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the business.

Strong business and financial awareness, with an innovative and creative approach are desirable.

Window Cleaner

ExCeL London is looking to recruit an experienced, full time window cleaner. 

ExCeL London is looking to recruit an experienced, full time Window Cleaner. This role is primarily responsible for the cleaning of glazing throughout the ExCeL London campus maintaining company cleaning standards as well as ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to.

Applicants must be reliable and able to work well in a team environment. Ability to use your own initiative, display a positive attitude and high standards ensuring priorities are achieved.

 

You must be able to use applicable cleaning equipment and either hold or undertake full training in scissor lift and hydraulic work platforms to be able to clean windows safely at heights.

Knowledge of basic Health & Safety regulations and previous experience working in a customer service or cleaning environment is essential.

EVS Technical Project Support

As the main point of contact between the client and service delivery teams, this role will support the client from the point of sale to onsite delivery, working closely to ensure that all aspects of service delivery are coordinated and planned in advance of being on site. 

For this role, you will need to be experienced in providing hands on, day to day support in the planning and delivery of events working closely with multiple stakeholder teams as the primary point of contact for technical queries from exhibitors within the web-shop, telesales and on site.

You will need to demonstrate experience in managing and operating a portfolio of event services and resources for events of various size and complexity.

You will be required to maintain quality control and ensure the client experience remains central to service delivery, whilst consistently exceeding expectations.

As an ExCeL London ambassador, this role require the ability to work under pressure, react quickly and meet tight deadlines, through effective time management and organisational skills.

You will have good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements within an events environment or from a technical services discipline with knowledge of CAD drawing input, design specifications analysis and able to demonstrate a solid track record in achieving exceptional client feedback in a service delivery industry.

Office Housekeeper

We are looking to recruit an experienced Office Housekeeper who will be responsible for all aspects of cleanliness within our Management Offices. 

ExCeL London is a world leading conference and events and exhibition venue and our teams work in collaboration to deliver events that we are proud of. Each department plays their own important part in making an event happen, and the best bit is when it comes together at the very end. We pride ourselves on taking every event to heart where customer service is paramount.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Office Housekeeper who will be responsible for all aspects of cleanliness within our Management Offices. The role is a full time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday working from 12:30pm - 9:30pm per day.

You will ensure that all cleaning is undertaken according to company standards and against agreed service levels and key performance indicators adhering to health and safety processes and procedures.

Working within the office space, meeting rooms, resources and facilities you will maintain this to the highest standard providing the level of attention to detail required.

You will also support the ordering process for office stationery cleaning materials, refreshments including coffee machine as well as monitoring of post room and deliveries. 

We need an individual who is reliable, and trustworthy, keen and enthusiastic and willing to put their energy and enthusiasm into the role being part of the ExCeL team.

Building Services Technician ( Electrical) 

ExCeL London is looking to recruit an experienced Building Services Technician to join our enthusiastic and highly skilled team.

ExCeL London is looking to recruit an experienced Building Services Technician to join our enthusiastic and highly skilled team which provides maintenance support for the venue and for the events which take place within it.

The primary function of the role is to provide both reactive and planned maintenance support with particular emphasis on electrical services. The ideal candidate will be electrically qualified to C&G 2360 Electrical(level 2) or equivalent with 17th Edition IEE Regulations aswell as 2391 Inspection & Testing/Equivalent C&G 2394/5.2377-12 Portable Appliance Testing qualification would also be beneficial.

The role holder will also be responsible for carrying out statutory compliance maintenance inspections ensuring that all regulatory requirements are adhered to and that all documentation is current. They will also be expected to work with and support the wider Building Services team as required.

Previous implementation or exposure to energy saving/ management initiatives would be a distinct advantage as would experience of working in the events industry. 

The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic and can do approach and a level of flexibility to meet the demands of our industry. Our aim is to deliver world loading events in world class facilities and so this team is crucial in maintaining the fabric and infrastructure of the building.

You will be familiar with working in a fast paced environment and able to deliver consistently high quality work under pressure and within deadlines.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a proactive, self-motivated approach to ensure all assigned tasks are completed comprehensively and efficiently initiative and problem solving skills.

Digital Marketing Executive

ExCeL London is looking to recruit an experienced and creative Digital Marketing Executive, tasked with implementing the strategy across the business.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, as well as the Marketing Managers for Exhibitions, Hospitality and EVS (ExCeL Venue Services), the Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for implementation of ExCeL’s digital marketing plan, in line with the commercial strategies for the business. 

The Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for implementing ExCeL’s digital marketing plan on a day-to-day basis, under the guidance of the Head of Marketing.

The role supports the development of the ExCeL website, social media channels and digital communications. The role is also responsible for marketing and communications linked to ExCeL’s CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) policy. 

We're looking for a creative and innovative individual, that champions the initiations of fostering learning, engagement and innovation across the business. Knowledge of social media is a must, in addition to experience managing corporate channels, corporate websites, and other digital channels.

The ideal candidate with be professional, approachable and confident in expressing ideas and managing digital projects.

The Digital Marketing Executive will be expected to report on campaigns and overall analytics. Previous experience with code, PPC campaigns and social media advertising is desirable, in addition to basic skills with Adobe Suite to prepare images for web.
