Excel London made it three from three at the recent AEO Awards by once again securing the prestigious Venue of the Year honours.
The Royal Docks venue has now walked away with the silverware for the past three years in a row (2024, 2025 and 2026), a feat only achieved once before in the history of the awards.
Held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, the AEO Excellence Awards first started in 1993 and are now regarded as the flagship awards for the events industry, recognising excellence among organisers, venues, suppliers, marketing teams, conferences, trade shows, and individuals.
For Excel, the awards are regarded as the highest possible praise as they are judged by event organisers themselves. On the award, the judging panel praised the venue for their commercial achievements, event delivery, visitor facilities and commitment to sustainability.
This award follows the venue's win earlier in the year when it secured the 2026 Exhibition News Venue of the Year honours - the fourth time it has done so in five years.
