Piped services

If your stand includes a kitchen or food service area or beauty treatment/demo zone, you may need access to piped water and waste connections. You can also hire equipment such as sinks, dishwashers, or water heaters through Excel’s Webshop or contact the Excel Exhibitor Services team

Important for hygiene and safety:

To maintain high health and safety standards, we strongly recommend using a proper plumbed sink for all food handling or preparation. Foot-pump sinks do not provide adequate water flow for effective hand washing and are not suitable for use in food service environments.

Don't forget:

  • Place your order at least 28 days before tenancy begins to benefit from the advance order rate.
  • If your appliance or equipment requires power, you’ll need to arrange this separately with the event’s appointed electrical contractor.

Eliminating gas from events

As part of Excel’s decarbonisation strategy and our commitment to the goals outlined in our Net Zero Transition Plan, we are phasing out the use of gas across all events held at the venue. This means that piped gas connections will no longer be available to purchase to support the transition to fully electric solutions.

This change is an important step in reducing carbon emissions associated with event operations, improving on‑site safety, and supporting exhibitors in adopting more efficient, low‑carbon technologies. By moving to electric‑only systems, we are aligning with industry best practice and ensuring that your stand at Excel can meet increasingly ambitious sustainability expectations.

We appreciate your cooperation as we implement this change and are here to support you in planning for a smooth transition.
