Sustainability

ExCeL London encourage our staff, yourselves, and exhibitors to share our wider purpose of creating a positive impact on the local community and the world around us.

As well as supporting five local charity partners, we are immensely proud of our achievements to date, most notably being certified carbon neutral, the first UK venue to achieve the internationally recognised PAS 2060 status.

We also use 100% renewable energy, send zero waste-to-landfill (and have done for more than 10 years), earning the 'Triple Crown of Sustainability' and even housing one of the UK's largest wormeries. We have also signed up to the Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge, committing us to a 50% emissions reduction by 20230 and to become net zero by 2050. This, of course, we intend to exceed and will be publishing our roadmap next year.

We also recognise sustainable development as fundamental to our success and endeavour to operate as a responsible corporate business, focusing on five key areas: Climate Action, Resource Efficiency, Client Engagement, Community Engagement and People.
