Standard mains only, 24hr not available.
It is in your interest to read this document thoroughly as this will help to avoid confusion at a later date.
The rate card cost of each main includes the installation and removal of the mains cable, and the electrical consumption only. The standard and 24hr mains are available during the event live period only; temporary power for build-up or break-down is not included. Temporary mains power required during build-up or break-down must be ordered separately, in addition to your standard or 24hr mains order.
1. All mains orders must be submitted with a floorplan, marked clearly with the location of each mains supply requested, we are unable to install your mains without this.
2. Electrical mains will be supplied via the service duct, as designated on the master floor plan by the event electrical contractor.
3. Discretion on mains location will be made for all mains where the electrical contractor has not designated a service duct.
4. Relocating a mains from east to west of the venue is free of charge up to 3 traps either side. For Phase 3, this will be from north to south.
5. Relocating a mains from north to south of the venue, or more than 3 traps east to west, will be treated as a cancellation (50% charge) and reordered at its original rate. For Phase 3, this will be east to west, or more than 3 traps north to south.
6. All power will be supplied in a terminated fused isolator. The box size is approximately 27cm x 37cm x 20cm. The mains cable to the fused isolator box will normally have a round profile cable of 32mm.
7. The fused isolator box must be accessible at all times. The location of the fused isolator should be designed on the stand plans. All cable exits and their associated isolators from the mains service duct need to be factored into the overall floor and stand plans. These must be contained within a stand or feature footprint. They will not be permitted in any gangway or public area.
8. Flat profile cables are limited in availability and will only be supplied at the discretion of the Excel mains team. Any flat profile cable under a carpet will need capping, to be supplied and installed by the appointed electrical contractor. Excel London will not permit mains cables (flat or round) to be installed in gangways or aisles.

13 amp temporary sockets are not permitted, nor powered during the event live period.
12. All mains ordered for the live period of the event will be de-energised after testing is complete and will be re-energised on the last day of build. Temporary mains supplies must be ordered separately to the mains ordered for the event live period if power is required during build or break. Temporary mains will be energised during the tenancy hours of build and break only.
13. During the open period, standard mains will be switched on and off daily, 30 minutes before and after the published event open and closed times, unless 24-hour power has been requested. Lighting will not be allowed to operate on a 24-hour main supply.
